Comics up for book awards

Adam Kay, Robert Webb and Russell Brand have all made the shortlist for the British Book Awards.

Medic-turned comedian Kay's account of his time as an NHS doctor, This is Going to Hurt, has been nominated in the non-fiction: narrative category.

Webb’s How To Be A Boy memoirs is nominated in the audiobook category, and Brand's Recovery: Freedom From Our Addictions is shortlisted  for non-fction: lifestyle category.

The winners will be announced at Grosvenor House, Park Lane on May 14.
