From the creators of Glee

Netflix has won a bidding war for The Politician, a new hour-long comedy series 

Barbra Streisand and Gwyneth Paltrow are reportedly in talks to star in the programme, which comes from the creators of Glee.

Music is said to feature heavily in the show, which will feature  Tony-award winner Ben Platt  as a wealthy Californian trying to break into politics.

Deadline reports that Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan secured the  biggest TV deal of the year to bring the show to the streaming giant.
