Craft honours for Armando Iannucci's satire

Armando Iannucci’s The Death of Stalin has won three categories in the craft section of the British Independent Film Awards

The political satire  won best casting for Sarah Crowe, best production design for Cristina Casali and best make up & hair design for Nicole Stafford.

The film stars Paddy Considine, Steve Buscemi and Jeffrey Tambor and revolves around the battle for succession following the demise of the the Soviet dictator. Read our review here.

Winners in the remaining BIFA categories will be unveiled at a ceremony on December 10 in London, hosted by The League Of Gentleman’s Mark Gatiss.
