Mel and Sue reunite with Ms Berry

 Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins are to reunite with Mary Berry for a one-off Christmas special.

The former Bake Off trio – who declined to join Paul Hollywood when the show was poached by Channel 4 – will visit a community centre in South Wales to bring festive cheer.

In the hour-long BBC One show, Mary will cook a Christmas lunch, with Mel and Sue staging a party and helping give the centre a facelift.

Charlotte Moore, the director of BBC content said: 'What a lovely chance for BBC One to help bring a community together and give something back to some incredible volunteers this Christmas, especially when the surprise party is organised by Mary, Mel and Sue.'
