For best shows and performers at the Fringe

Comedians working at the Edinburgh Fringe have been invited to vote for their favourite colleagues and shows at the festival.

Their picks will decide the Comedians’ Choice Awards – also known as the Barry Awards, after comic Barry Ferns, pictured, who set them up. They are nothing to do with the well-established Barry Awards handed out at the Melbourne Comedy Festival

Previous winners include Spencer Jones, Will Franken, Bob Slayer and Bec Hill.

Voting will finish on Friday, with the shortlist announced later that day and the winner on Sunday 27.
