Bursaries for Lauren Pattison and Arna Spek

Lauren Pattison and Arna Spek have each received £500 from a bursary set up by London’s 99 Club to help female comedians.

The club also decided to give three other finalists showcased at their show last night £100 each – Athena Kugblenu, Evelyn Mok and  Maria Shehata.

Judge Hannah Martin from agent PBJ said: ‘The standard was fantastic! Absolutely brilliant. I can’t wait to catch them all in Edinburgh.’

The other judges were  Catherine Gagon from Avalon and Flo Howard  from Off The Kerb
