Wanted: Graphic content
Production company Roughcut TV has launched a hunt for comedy and comedy drama graphic novels that can be developed into TV series.
The company has teamed up with graphic novel publisher Myriad to find a writer they can work with a view to being offered a contract for publication and to develop the idea for television.
Roughcut executive producer Tim Sealey said: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for new writers to get their work adapted for TV. We’re very excited to be expanding our slate in this way and we can’t wait to see the brilliant ideas come through the door."
Corinne Pearlman of Myriad Editions added: ‘We have absolutely no preconceptions about the content - this competition is open to all cartoonists, writers and artists.’
Entries may be from a single author or can be a collaboration between a writer and artist, and should be submitted here by September 30.
