Dara O Briain headlines brain tumour charity gig

Dara O’Briain is to headline a benefit for  The Brain Tumour Charity.

The gig – at the Backyard Comedy Club in Bethnal Green, East London next week – has been put together byHal Cruttenden, who has been a supported of the charity since losing his mum to a brain tumour several years ago

He said: ‘I can’t think of many better shows to see on a Wednesday in London…There’s also nothing on the telly that night - I’ve checked.’

Wednesday’s gig will also feature Tony Law. and Bennett Arron, who said: ‘I’ve known Hal a long time - even though he's still not sure if Arron is my surname or first name - and was delighted when he asked me to be a part of this wonderful line up for such an incredible charity. ‘

The Brain Tumour Charity aims to double survival rates caused by brain tumours, the biggest cancer killer of children and people under 40 in the UK.
