Boyle announces charity gig

Frankie Boyle has announced his only gig outside of London and the Edinburgh Fringe

He will play a one-off charity gig in Cardiff to raise money for a young cerebral palsy sufferer to have a life-changing operation.

The family of four-year-old Lincoln Hope, from Pontypool, are trying to raise £100,000 for surgery in America.

They hope the operation, and subsequent treatment, will enable the boy – who was born ten weeks premature – to walk, run and live a pain-free life.

Boyle will be supported at the benefit by Francesca Martinez, who also suffers from cerebral palsy.

It takes place at St David's Hall on Saturday September 9.
