Rob Brydon has announced more dates in his I Am Standing Up tour..

The comic – currently seen alongside Steve Coogan – in The Trip on Sky Atlantic – has put 16 more gigs on sale today for dates this autumn.

And three more 'huge' Cardiff arena dates for October 8 to 10 next year will go on sale tomorrow.

Brydon – who is currently filming the synchronised swimming comedy movie Swimming With Men –  tweeted: 'In answer to some questions, yes, there will be more shows, more in Wales, the rest of the UK and Ireland.'

He is also performing short run of gigs with his Would I Lie To You colleagues Lee Mack and David Mitchell in Cheltenham. The sold-out shows, on March 19 to 22 next year, prmomise 'an evening of chat, questions and generally messing around'.
