BRISTOL: David Cross begins a short UK visit at St George's. Known for cult sketch show Mr Show alongside Bob Odenkirk and playing Tobias Fünke in Arrested Development, the comic also created, wrote, executive produced, and starred in The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret and recently directed Season 1 of his show Bliss, a new TV series for Sky starring Heather Graham. LONDON: Oddballs assemble for another instalment of The Alternative Comedy Memorial Society (ACMS) at The Phoenix near Oxford Circus, with regulars like Ali Brice, Ben Target, Joz Norris, Matthew Highton and Thom Tuck all scheduled to appear.

LONDON: Comedian and Bob's Burgers star Eugene Mirman is taping his first special in a decade soon. And to road-test the material, he's at the Soho Theatre from tonight to Friday with what's billed as 'an evening of whimsy and mild grievances'.
