You're hired! Shazia Mirza and Eddie Kadi set for The Apprentice
Celebrity edition to mark 20 years of Lord Sugar's show
Shazia Mirza and Eddie Kadi are to appear in a celebrity version of The Apprentice.
The comedians will be taking part in the BBC show in a special series marking its 20th anniversary later this year.
Mirza is no stranger to reality TV with appearances including Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins, Celebrity Masterchef and Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.
Kadi, who hosted this year’s Mobo Awards and took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2023, was the first British black comedian to headline the O2 Arena in London.
Miranda actress Sarah Hadland – who appeared on the most recent series of Strictly – will also be taking part in Celebrity Apprentice.
The line-up, revealed by The Sun this morning, is completed by TV presenters AJ Odudu and Angela Scanlon; EastEnders star Jake Wood; JLS singer JB Gill; Matt Morsia, aka Legend in Gladiators; barrister turned presenter Rob Rinder; Paralympian Kadeena Cox; Radio 1’s Charlie Hedges and previous Apprentice contestants Thomas Skinner.
This will be the first Celebrity Apprentice in six years. In 2019, a two-parter in aid of Comic Relief featured comics Omid Djalili and Russell Kane facing Lord Sugar’s challenges.
