
UK dates for Wanda Sykes, Sarah Silverman and Mark Normand

American stand-ups Wanda Sykes, Sarah Silveman and Mark Normand have all announced UK dates this monrning.
It what will be her first UK dates in six years, Sykes will be performing her Please & Thank You tour at Manchester’s New Century Hall on June 26, the Royal Festival Hall in London the following day and Brighton Dome on June 29.
She has not performed in the UK since she played London’s Union Chapel in 2019.
Sykes, who had recurring roles in Curb Your Enthusiasm and The New Adventures of Old Christine, is recording a seventh and final series of her Netflix comedy due to air later this year. She also appeared in an advertisement which aired on Super Bowl Sunday in the US, speaking about the importance of getting tested early for breast cancer. She underwent routine breast reduction surgery in 2011, only to receive a diagnosis of stage 0 cancer.

Meanwhile, Silverman will be performing her latest show, Postmortem at the London Palladium on April 28 in what will be her first UK show in 12 years.
Postmortem is described as 'a cathartically comedic show' exploring her 'complex yet humorous feelings around loss and grief'.
It follows the comedian’s last filmed special Sarah Silverman: Someone You Love, which was nominated for a Grammy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award. Silverman's last show in the UK was at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London in 2013.
Finally, Normand will be performing his Ya Don’t Say Tour in May, following last year's one-hour Netflix special, Soup To Nuts. He previously put out the self-released special Out To Lunch, which has amassed more than 12 million views on YouTube since its 2020 release.
