Liam Tulley joins the Chortle Hotshots
Comic to get help with his Fringe debut
Liam Tulley has become the fourth comedian selected to be one of this year’s Chortle Hotshots.
The laid-back comic took the slot at the Birmingham Glee club last night, with a set about his treatment for a bladder tumour. Here’s a short extract:
He will be making his debut at Edinburgh this year with his show Baldilocks, at Just The Tonic at the Mash House. It is described as a collection of ‘ dating disasters, awkward medical procedures, and the struggle to hold it together when things don't go to plan’.
Tulley joins fellow Chortle Hotshots Vinny Shiu, Dean Coughlin and Alex Stringer in getting help bringing their shows to the festival.
Our fifth and final showcase takes place at The Gaffe comedy club in Bristol next Tuesday, February 25, with Sally-Anne Hayward introducing Alex Prescot, Caroline Madds, Cordelia Graham, Ed Mulvey, Jessie Nixon, Katie Davison, Kevin Daniel, Lucas Jefcoate, Mahesh Khilnani and Su Mi.
Tickets are available here.
