Taskmaster wins a Rose d'Or

...as does Baby Reindeer

Taskmaster and Baby Reindeer were among the winners at the prestigious Rose d’Or international TV awards last night.

The Alex Horne challenge show won  the comedy entertainment category, where it was nominated alongside the TV version of Radio 4’s mash-up satirical show The Skewer. Rob & Romesh Vs, Germany’s Die Carolin Kekebus Show, Norway’s Dumbest and Australian improv format Thank God You’re Here.

And Richard Gadd’s harrowing stalker story won the drama category at the ceremony, ahead of shows including Mr Bates Vs The Post Office.

Norway’s Dates In Real Life won the comedy category ahead of Channel 4’s We Are Lady Parts, Charlie Covell’s recently cancelled Netflix series Kaos, Guy Ritchie’s action comedy series The Gentlemen, the Australian series  Population 11 and What Happened to Solveig, also for Norway.

The awards were handed out in London at a ceremony hosted  by Sophie Duker.
