Peter Kay extends record-breaking tour

21 more dates for his arena show

Peter Kay has announced 21 extra dates for his record-breaking comedy tour.

The extension was announced with a surprise TV ad in the opening episode of I’m Celebrity Get Me Out of Here last night.

The commercial plays on the title of his 2002 tour, Mum Wants A Bungalow tour and shows the comic carrying a gold toilet into the property.

It was the same property used to originally announcd the tour, which started in Manchester in December 2022:

The tour has already broken several venue records. He’s just completed his 100th ever show at the Manchester AO Arena and is first artist to perform a monthly residency at The O2 in London. His 45 shows are the most played by any artist in the venue’s history. The new dates include two more at the venue.

Kay said: ‘It's been wonderful doing what I love most, stand-up comedy. Laughter is more important than ever in these challenging tims’.

Tickets for the extra dates go on sale at 10am on Saturday
