WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS ROADS: This week Babatunde Aleshe and Kae Kurd are in Zambia, on an journey through the Lower Zambezi Valley, where the local wildlife is almost as terrifying as the perilous roads. Over four days, the comedians find themselves caught up in the middle of an elephant turf war, stumble across a pair of mating lions who seem none too pleased at the interruption, and paddle a kayak through a pod of hippos. RICHARD OSMAN'S HOUSE OF GAMES:Stand-up Josh Jones takes on actress and singer Molly Rainford, presenter Mark Rhodes and pop star Sonia in this week of quizzing. BBC Two, 6pm

RHOD GILBERT’S GROWING PAINS: In this week's episode, Vogue Williams tries (again) to be a pop star, Al Murray goes head-to-head with a tank expert and Kyrah Gray's teacher arrives to turn up the embarrassment. Comedy Central UK, 9pm

Wednesday November 13

BAD SISTERS: The murderous Garvey sisters – Sharon Horgan, Sarah Greene, Eva Birthistle, Anne-Marie Duff and Eve Hewson – are back on Apple TV+ for a second series of the darkly comic thriller, with the police sniffing around the family.

BBC NEW COMEDY AWARD: It's the final of this year's competition that helped launched the careers of Peter Kay, Lee Mack, John Oliver, Russell Howard, Alan Carr, Sarah Millican and so many more. The 2024 finalists are Dane ​Buckley, Paul Hilleard, Maia Tassalin, Marty ​Gleeson, Jonathan Oldfield and Jake Donaldson, who was the runner-up in the Lancaster heat won by Marie Goulbourne, who unexpectedly died a few days after filming. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST Chris McCausland's audio panel show returns for a second series, with Iain Stirling and Su Pollard taking on Alasdair Beckett-King and Sophie Duker in this first episode. The teams must figure out what on earth is being advertised on TV, guess what famous objects or locations children are trying to describe, and guess what sounds their teammates are trying to recreate. KEN CHENG: CHINESE COMEDIAN: A repeat run of the 2018 stand-up series exploring British Chinese culture, starting with a look at attitudes towards Education. BBC Radio 4 Extra, 11.30pm

TASKMASTER - THE FINAL: Who of Andy Zaltzman, Babátúndé Aléshé, Emma Sidi, Jack Dee and Rosie Jones will be crowned the 18th Taskmaster champion and take home Greg Davies's golden head? Channel 4, 9pm

LEGENDS OF COMEDY WITH ​LENNY HENRY: A four-part series in which Sir Lenny Henry meets comedy stars to discuss their career starts with Paul Whitehouse.
