Specs Gonzalez to host Hear Me Out

Channel 4 has commissioned a new comedy panel show featuring online personalities airing their controversial opinions.

Hear Me Out will go out on the broadcaster’s digital network Channel 4.0 and be hosted by YouTuber Specs Gonzalez, pictured.

Social media stars taking part include Nella Rose, Adeola Patronne, PK Humble, Benzo, Whitney Adebayo, Callux, Danny Aarons, Darkest Man and Expressions.

They will have to defend their opinion to a panel of judges all from a certain demographic, such as hormonal teens, sex-positive women, gym bros or geniuses.

Executive producer Jamie MacDonald from programme-makers After Party Studios said: ‘With the indisputable legend that is Specs at the helm and some of the internet’s most brilliant and unruly talent, Hear Me Out promises to be riotous, laugh-packed and at times, awkward af.’

And commissioning editor Evie Buckley, added that the show was ‘big and bold’ as the ‘stars do their best to argue some of their most obscure hot takes - from their biggest icks to their questionable hygiene routines’.

Filming is currently under way on the six 15-minute episodes.
