Live At The Apollo is to tape its 19th series this autumn – with free tickets now available.

Seven 45-minute epsiodes of the stand-up showcase are to be recorded in September October,  including a Christmas special.

Details of which comedians will be taking part have not yet been released, but Andrew Beint, managing director of programme-makers Open Mike Productions has previously said: 'We will continue to introduce viewers to some of the funniest homegrown and international stand-up comedic talent currently working in today's comedy industry,

A 20th series, again comprising six regular episodes and a Christmas special, has already been commissioned for 2025.

The programme, made by Open Mike Productions, began in 2004 and was originally hosted by Jack Dee, before having a guest host every episode. It moved from BBC One to BBC Two in 2015.The most-watched episode aired in December 2009, with 6.29million viewers tuning in to  see Rhod Gilbert and John Bishop.

Last year’s comedians included Tom Allen, Maisie Adam, Olga Koch, Lara Ricotem Glenn Moore, Ria Lina, Thanyia Moore and Lloyd Griffith 

The new episodes will bring the total to 129, all recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo in West London. 

They are being taped on September 30 and October 1 and 2 and free tickets are available from Standing Room Only.
