Rebel Wilson announces UK dates

To promote her new autobiography

Rebel Wilson is coming to the UK for a short tour to promote her memoirs.

The Bridesmaids star is holding three ‘candid, funny, and inspiring conversation’ events  in Edinburgh, Manchester and London in April.

It is to promote Rebel Rising, her autobiography that will be published on April 2 by Harper Collins.

The blurb reads: ‘For decades, Rebel Wilson single-mindedly focused on her career, forgoing relationships in favour of making a name for herself.

‘In her revealing and authentic memoir, Rebel chronicles the emotional and physical lessons she has learned, as well as her most embarrassing experiences. A malaria-induced Oscars hallucination? An all-style martial-arts fighting tournament? Junior handling at dog shows?’

In the memoir she also covers fertility issues, weight gain and loss to sexuality, overcoming shyness and dealing with rejection

Tickets to the ‘evening with’ shows go on general sale at 10am on Friday here.

Rebel Rising is available from Amazon, or from bookshop.org - below - which helps local bookstores.

• Chortle’s Comedy Book Festival takes place at the British Library on Sunday March 3 featuring Ed Gamble, Lou Sanders, Sara Pascoe, Cariad Lloyd, Doon Mackichan, Robin Ince, Bob Cryer on his dad Barry and many more. Tickets
