BIRMINGHAM: Ed Gamble and James Acaster take their mega-successful Off Menu podcast on a live tour, kicking off at the Hippodrome. Each night they will quiz a different guest about their dream cuisine - their favourite ver starter, main course, dessert, side dish and drink. When the tour was announced, Gamble said: 'I am mad with joy that we finally get to put the dream meals on wheels.' And Acaster added: "Like Shrek and Donkey, Ed and I are off on a noble quest and we won't stop until we find our happily ever after.' Off Menu tour dates
GLASGOW: Frankie Boyle headlines the No Borders comedy night in aid of the Scottish Refugee Council at the Glee. The strong bill also includes Josie Long, Mark Nelson, Stephen Buchanan, Susie McCabe and Jin Hao Li. No surprise it's sold out.

SOUTHEND: The Palace Theatre hosts a triumphant homecoming gig for trans comic Jordan Gray, who caused such a stir on Channel 4's Friday Night Live last year following a barnstroming Edinburgh Fringe run. It's part of her ongoing tour

LONDON: Dara O Briain headlines Laughter to the Rafters, a benefit gig for The Passage charity at the Comedy Store to mark World Homelessness Day and World Mental Health Day. Also performing are the varied talents of Catherine Bohart, Dinesh Nathan, Esther Manito, Lorna Rose Treen, Sooz Kempner and Stuart Goldsmith
Thursday October 12
DUBLIN: US comedian Andrew Schultz, known for his work on MTV's Guy Code as well as his own Netflix special plays the 3Arena ahead of sold-out shows in Glasgow, Manchester and London's Royal Albert Hall in the coming days.
Friday October 13
LONDON: Resofit, the benefit gig for avant-garde radio station Resonance FM takes place at the Bloomsbury Theatre. Daniel Kitson, who sometimes broadcasts on the station, introduces top-flight alternative comics Nish Kumar, Sam Campbell, Rose Matafeo, Simon Munnery, Celya AB, Rob Auton, Helen Arney, Isy Suttie and Mat Ewins.
Saturday October 14
LONDON: Hannah Gadsby Presents A Gender Agenda at the Alexandra Palace Theatre, with two shows at 5pm and 8.30pm. It's not been revealed who's performing, but the gigs are being filmed for later release.
