Comedy stars join Dreaming Whilst Black
Isy Suttie, Peter Serafinowicz and Jessica Hynes have joined the cast of new BBC comedy Dreaming Whilst Black, it has been announced today.
The six-part series comes to BBC Three and iPlayer in late July. following a web series and successful pilot in 2021.
Series creator Adjani Salmon reprises his leading role as an aspiring filmmaker stuck in a dead-end recruitment job alongside Dani Moseley, Demmy Ladipo, Rachel Adedeji and Babirye Bukilwa.
Also returning to the full series in supporting roles are Alexander Owen, one half of comedy duo The Pin, as Adam, and Will Hislop – Ian Hislop’s son who is in the comedy double act Giants.
Suttie and Serafinowicz will have recurring roles in the series alongside Roger Griffiths, Martina Laird, Jo Martin, Akemnji Ndifornyen and Steve Furst while Hynes and Love Island’s Ovie Soko will make guest appearances.
