BEN ELTON: THE GREAT RAILWAY DISASTER: The comedian takes a look at the crisis in UK railways… because who better to get to grips with the complexities of a major transport infrastructure than the bloke who did some stand-up about trying to get a 'double seat' some 30 years ago… Channel 4, 8pm
WONDERS OF THE WORLD I CAN'T SEE: Tonight,Tom Allen travels with blind comedian Chris McCausland to Rome where - after, zipping around on a rickety Vespa - he tries to do justice to the majesty of the Colosseum, just by describing it. Channel 4, 10pm
LARRY DEAN: FANDAN: A bit of a career milestone for the double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee as his debut special - recorded in his hometown of Glasgow - gets an airing on national TV. He takes us through his attempt to win friends through bank robbery, getting tea with murderers and memorable misdemeanours in a Dubai hotel room Channel 4, 12.10am
Wednesday June 28
ROOM 101: Julian Clary joins his old writing partner Paul Merton for the last in this series, griping about wild swimmers, chatty taxi drivers and garden makeover shows. Watch out, Alan Titchmarsh! BBC Radio 4, 6.30pm
Friday June 30
THE LAST LEG: Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker return for a 28th series, albeit one curtailed by Channel 4 budget cuts. For the series opener, they are joined by actress Miriam Margolyes. She'll probably swear. Channel 4, 10pm
