...and stand-up Markus Birdman is in tonight's semi

Viggo Venn is through to the final of Britain’s Got Talent – as stand-up Markus Birdman tries his luck on the live semi-final tonight.

Norwegian physical comic Venn first act to be told he was going straight through to the final on last night’s show..

He took to the stage in one of the hi-vis jackets that played such a key role in his audition piece to Daft Punk’s One More Time.

But this time he used Eminem’s My Name Is, a sampling machine and interactions with the  judging panel to put together his upbeat routine.

The second act to go through was 11-year-old singer Olivia Lynes.

Birdman, 52, returns to the ITV show tonight after impressing judges in his audition with his stand-up about the two strokes he has suffered, as well as an anecdote about accidentally sitting on a blind naked man in hospital.’

After the set,  which aired earlier in the month, judhe Simon Cowell said: 'I don't think anyone was expecting that...you were just brilliant. Jokes like this I absolutely love.’

Before his appearance, Birdman said that given his medical issues, going on Britain's Got Talent 'is not the scariest thing I’ve done.’

Also taking part tonight are dance groups  Notorious and Ghetto Kids, singers Dylan B and Travis George, yo-yo duo Toy Toy Toy, danger act Miki Dark and   11-year-old guitarist Harry Churchill. The show airs from 8pm.

The final goes out on Sunday.
