Kicking off in September

Michael McIntyre has announced his first live tour in five years.

An initial 35 UK and Ireland dates have been announced for Macnificent, most of them in arenas, plus a short run in New York.

The show will start at the Bristol Hippodrome on September 6, with dates so far stretching to June next year, where the tour is scheduled to end in Belfast. But promoters Off The Kerb say more dates will be added.

The stand-up has just returned to BBC One for the sixth series Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, while his game show The Wheel, which he devised, has been sold to NBC in America, and he hosts that version too.

Across his previous tours, McIntyre has sold more than four million tickets, including 28 shows at The O2 in London,.

Advance tickets go on sale this Wednesday, with the tour going on general sale from Friday.
