Curb Your Enthusiasm will get a 12th season
Larry David is to make a 12th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, he announced last night.
The star and writer of the HBO comedy was confirmed the news when asked if it would be returning during a Q&A event at the Directors’ Guild Of America last night.
Season 11 – which revolved around the consequences of a burglar drowning in the fictional Larry’s swimming pool – ended in December. It also starred Tracey Ullman as a councilwoman he started dating.
HBO have always said they will make more Curbs depending on David’s wishes. In February, network chief Casey Bloys said: ‘As usual, if he has an area that he is excited about, we’ll do more. I imagine he will.’
The series airs on Sky Comedy in the UK.
News of David’s comments last night were first reported by Deadline. His panel also featured co-stars Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, JB Smoove, Cheryl Hines and Richard Lewis and executive producer Jeff Schaffer.
