Topping another Black British Takeover showcase

Mo Gilligan has announced his return to The O2, again headlining a showcase of black comedy talent.

The Black British Takeover Part 2 will play the 20,000-seater on December 8 –  a year to the day since his debut at the London arena, the biggest show of his career.

He was also back at the venue last month to host the Brit awards.

Gilligan said: ‘I’m really proud of the black British comedy circuit. It’s where I started and is full of so much incredible talent. I’m absolutely honoured to be heading back to the legendary The O2 with another history-making line up.’

Acts at the first included Thanyia Moore, Eddie Kadi, Babatúndé Aléshé and Ola Labib.

Ss well as The O2 show..  Gilligan’s 2021 tour There’s Mo To Life included ten nights at London’s Eventim Apollo. And his channel 4 programme, The Lateish Show, was recently commissioned for a third and fourth series commission.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday.

Nigel Ng has announced a new date of his Haiyaa World Tour at the Eventim Apollo on February 2. Tickets went on sale at 10am today, here.
