Comedy raises cash for humanitarian crisis

Two major comedy benefits to aid the Ukrainian crisis have been announced at London’s Eventim Apollo.

The gigs, on March 28 and 30, have been put together by top agency Off The Kerb and feature their A-list acts including Michael McIntyre, Alan Carr, Dara O Brian and more

The star-studded line-ups are, so far:

Monday March 28: Dara O Briain, Jack Dee, Jo Brand, Romesh Ranganathan, Russell Kane, Suzi Ruffell, Tom Allen and Kerry Godliman.

Wednesday March 30: Alan Carr, Angela Barnes, Joel Dommett, Mark Steel, Michael McIntyre, Nathan Caton, Rob Beckett, Rosie Jones.

Tickets are on sale now and all profits go to British Red Cross DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Meanwhile, Scott Bennett, Duncan Oakley, Tom Wrigglesworth and Barry Dodds are to preform in another Ukrainian benefit at the Canalhouse in Nottingham at 4pm on Sunday March 20.

Dodds will also be auctioning off some of his personal collection from the ParaPod Movie as well as the chance for four winners to come and spend a night with him in the most haunted house in the UK. Tickets are available here.

East London's Backyard Comedy Club is hosting a Ukraine fundraiser headlined by Seann Walsh on April 4. The bill also includes  Toussaint Douglass, Sooz Kempner,  Rob Deering and more – and tickets are available here.

And Michael Legge is hosting James Acaster and a night of music for Ukraine at the Shepherds Bush Empire on March 25  featuring Martin Rossiter, Andy Bell Dodgy, Starsailor and others. Tickets
