Russell Howard to headline Latitude
Russell Howard is to headline the Comedy Arena at this year’s Latitude festival.
Organisers Festival Republic have today announced that the stand-up will be performing at the event on the back of his Respite world tour, which he will be taking to America this month.
Howard said: ‘Can’t wait to headline Latitude. Such a brilliant festival and always has an excellent range of music and comedy.’
Tim Key will also be at the festival – which takes place in Henham Park in Suffolk from July 21 to 24 – to perform his acclaimed new lockdown-inspired show Mulberry.
Other acts confirmed include Rosie Jones, David O’Doherty, Maisie Adam and Taskmaster’s Alex Horne with his band The Horne Section.
Musical headliners on the Obelisk arena will be Lewis Capaldi, Foals and Snow Patrol.
Latitude will again play host to the Chortle Student Comedy Awards finalists, ahead of the actual final at the Edinburgh Fringe.
And also coming to the comedy stage are Tez Ilyas, Scott Bennett, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Lara Ricote, Lily Philips, Michael Odewale, Rachel Fairburn, Andy Field, Charlie George, Omar Badawy.
More names will be announced in the run-up to the festival, which is sponsored by online car-sales platform Cinch.
Currently, tickets are only available to Barclaycard and Three customers, and they go on general sale on Friday.
