Felicity Ward and Alfie Brown to tape Amazon Prime specials
Felicity Ward and Alfie Brown have been added to the line-up of Soho Theatre Live stand-up specials to be released on Amazon Prime.
The pair complete the series of ten shows to be recorded at the prestigious London venue next month for release next year.
Ward is recording her 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated show Busting A Nut, which covers living with the in-laws, mental health, inspirational Instagram quotes and drunken nights out. Review.
Meanwhile, Alfie Brown’s Sensitive Man covers ageing, privilege, the commodification of mental health, virtue hierarchies and easily-triggered offence. He will also be taking the show on tour from February. Review.
They will both be recorded at Soho Theatre on January 21.
Yesterday Chortle revealed that Mark Watson and Anuvab Pal had been added to the line-up alongside Spencer Jones, Luisa Omielan, Suzi Ruffell, Michael Odewale, Olga Koch and Natalie Palamides.
Free tickets to the recordings of all the specials are available from Standing Room Only.
This is the third series of Soho Theatre Live to be released on the streaming service, with shows from the likes of Joel Dommett, Josie Long, Nish Kumar and Jordan Brookes already available. Watch clips from all the episodes in the first series here, or the second series here.
