As some familiar comedy names join the cast

Series three of Ricky Gervais comedy After Life will land on January 14, Netflix has announced.

It has also been revealed that  Kath Hughes – known on the live scene for her roles in the sketch troupes Gein’s Family Gift Shop and Tarot – joins the cast in the new regular role of intern Coleen.

Gervais often casts from the live circuit, and other guest stars this series will include Ricky Grover, Dave Hill, Tim Key and Kate Robbins

Also returning for the new episodes are Tom Basden, Kerry Godliman, Penelope Wilton, Ashley Jensen, Tony Way, Joe Wilkinson, Diane Morgan, David Bradley, Michelle Greenidge, Jo Hartley, and Peter Egan.

Gervais has indicated that the new run of six episodes will be the last.
