ITV films Lee Mack's football training
Lee Mack's attempts to get into shape for the Soccer Aid charity football match are to be documented on ITV.
The hour-long special will also follow him as he gets help from famous names in a bid to improve his footballing skills – after he missed three penalties in three previous Soccer Aid matches.
Lee Mack's Road To Soccer Aid will also show how the £47million raised from the annual event over the years has helped the work of Unicef.
The 10th such match will take place at Manchester City's Eithad Stadium on September 4 and also feature former Olympic champion sprinter Usain Bolt, TV presenter Paddy McGuinness and former footballers Wayne Rooney, Gary Neville, Roberto Carlos and Jamie Redknapp.
ITV will also air On Yer Bike For Soccer Aid during the week of the clash in which eight celebrities, including comic Zoe Lyons, will compete in a cycling race across Yorkshire.
It will be hosted by former cricketer Freddie Flintoff and featuring Olympic cycling champion Sir Bradley Wiggins.
Lyons will be on a World team alongside actor Joe McFadden, Love Island star Maura Higgins and singer Keith Duffy, taking on an England team of Coronation Street actress Sair Khan, actor Barney Walsh, Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford and Emmerdale actor Rebecca Sarker.
