Sunday August 15

LADHOOD: Liam Williams’ critically acclaimed coming-of-age comedy returns, with the comic looking back at his Noughties' adolescence in search of answers to his modern-day millennial angst. All six episodes dropped on BBC Three’s iPlayer channel this morning.

THE REUNION: Armando Iannucci, David Schneider, Steve Coogan  and Doon Mackichan get together to discuss the making of The Day Today, the groundbreaking news satire that introduced the world to Alan Partridge, as well as redefining the comedy landscape. Kirsty Walk conducts the conversion, though it is is sadly missing frontman and co-creator Chris Morris. Radio 4, 11am

JOE LYCETT'S GOT YOUR BACK: The comedian returns to fight for the consumer rights of the British public, for a third series of battles with big brands, dodgy scammers and rogue traders - all with the help of his assistant Mark Silcox, a weekly studio guest and celebrity cameos. Across the series, he goes up against international companies to make their packaging environmentally friendly, launches a campaign to back British wool, takes on dodgy puppy dealers and hits back against the nation's worst bosses. In this first episode, AJ Odudu shares her tips for how to be a good complainer, Sophie Duker investigates rat-run traffic fines and Joe explains the live TV walkout that hit the headliners earlier this summer. Channel 4, 8pm

THE STORY OF LATE NIGHT: Memorable on-screen moments from American TV, and some of the off-screen drama behind them, are explored in this six-part series into how icons such as Johnny Carson, Jay  Leno and David Letterman kept America laughing. But it hasn’t all been so jolly. Interviewees include  Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal, Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers,  James Corden, Chelsea Handler, Hasan Minhaj, Andy Richter and  Ray Romano.  Sky Documentaries, 9pm

A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN: The comedy sports panel show is back for a 16th series with Romesh Ranagathan in the chair. Sky One, 9pm
