Couple draw on their Sh**ged Married Annoyed podcast for talk-show pilot

Chris & Rosie Ramsey are piloting a new late-night comedy chat show.

The programme, for an as-yet unknown broadcaster, aims to build on the success of their Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed podcast, which has been downloaded 66 million times.

In each episode of the TV show, they will  be joined by another celebrity couple to discuss growing up, relationships, arguments, annoyances, parenting and everything in between.

They will also be repeating the What’s Your Beef? section from the podcast, airing couples’ grievances. A call has gone out to fans to share whatever ‘gross or utterly annoying thing’ their partner does, for possible inclusion on the show.

Rosie has  also put out a request on social media asking for tasks she and Chris could undertake for a ‘secret filming project’ -. ‘No job too big or small,’ she posted, before inviting submissions via ramseysforhire@gmail.com

The couple will be staging a dry run of the show next week, followed by a full pilot episode later in the month. Both will take place in front of a live audience at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith,West London.

Chris previously fronted a chat format for Comedy Central in 2017, but his stock has risen since performing on Strictly Come Dancing. He has also co-hosted talent show Little Mix's The Search and guest presented The One Show and Children In Need.

The couple will also be touring arenas with a live version of Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed, starting in September. Full tour dates.

In January, the couple welcomed their second son, Rafe, a brother to four-year-old Robin.

Free audience tickets to the TV show tapings are available from Standing Room Only.
