Comic says it's OK to buy his albums again

Daniel Kitson has told his fans its OK to buy his albums from Bandcamp again, after being hit by hackers last month.

The criminals hijacked his account and pocketed the  money from sales after his 2009 show We Are Gathered Here was put online - propelling the comic to the list of bestselling artists, and attracting their attention.

But in an email to his mailing list today, he said: ‘The Bandcamp thing is all sorted. 

‘I was lucky enough to have a couple of people who work at Bandcamp on my mailing list and they actually sorted it all within a day and covered the money snaffled by the fraudster so everything is fine in that regard and is actually another indication that Bandcamp do seem to be a pretty sound organisation - which is nice.’

Kitson also said he was planning some online shows, but was not in a position to announce them yet.
