People Just Do Nothing trio plot a heist comedy
The Curse in development for Channel 4
Three stars of People Just Do Nothing are reuniting on a heist comedy.
Steve Stamp, Allan Mustafa and Hugo Chegwin are writing a possible Channel 4 series, with the working title The Curse.
Set in the 1980s, the plot is said to revolved around the unexpected after-effects of a heist with echoes of the notorious 1983 Brink’s-Mat robbery, in which £26million of gold bullion, diamonds, and cash was stolen from a Heathrow warehouse
James De Frond, who runs production company Shiny Button with Murder in Successville's Tom Davis, directed a pilot of the comedy last year.
People Just Do Nothing's movie spin-off Big In Japan was due to be released next month, but has been delayed until next year
