Jonny and the Baptists to tour, without touring

Series of gigs with venues around the UK

Musical comedy duo Jonny And The Baptists have announced a new tour, without hitting the road.

The pair, Jonny Donahoe and Paddy Gervers, will be working in conjunction with seven independent venues around the country, offering some customised content for each town and city.

The show will be performed in the basement of their local out-of-action pub based on their 2019 Edinburgh Fringe offering, Love You & Hate Bastards. (Review)

Now renamed Love You & Hate Covid,  the virtual tour kicks off with a show in conjunction with the South Street Arts Centre in Reading next Thursday (June 25).

The other venues are  Oxford’s Old Fire Station (June 29), the Lowry in Salford (July 2); Pound Arts Centre in Corsham, Wiltshire (July 7); Kings Place in London on July 9; the Midlands Arts Centre Birmingham on July 14; and the three Stand comedy clubs in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle on July 16.

Tickets are available here.
