Starring Lil Dicky

BBC Two has brought the rights to US comedy Dave, starring rapper Lil Dicky.

He also co-created the loosely autobiographical show about a neurotic suburban man convinced that he's destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. 

Lil Dicky, who stars under his real name Dave Burd, shot to fame in 2013 when the music video of his song Ex-Boyfriend hit a million views on YouTube in 24 hours. 

He has since collaborated with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown T-Pain and comic Hannibal Buress on tracks that often have a comic element, aiming to avoid egotistical raps about clubbing for more relatable content.

Dave, which launched on the FXX cable channel in the States in March to generally favourable reviews, also features a slew of guest stars over its ten episodes including Justin Bieber, Macklemore, and Charlamagne Tha God.

The series will launch on BBC Two at 10pm on Sunday.
