Comedy Store goes online
Footage from old gigs to be streamed
The Comedy Store is to stream footage from its archives for the first time in a bid to generate income during the lockdown.
Its first hour-long show, put together from videos shot at its London and Manchester venues, will air from 8.30pm on Saturday.
The venue promises ‘world-class stand-up comedy, complete with all the heckles, put-downs and infamous electric Comedy Store atmosphere’ from a bill that features Stephen Grant, Eleanor Tiernan, Paul Tonkinson and Tom Ward.
Tickets to view cost £5,50 and profits will be split between the performers and the venues. Each ticket gives access to the show for 36 hours and they are available here.
