Tuesday November 12
THE COCKFIELDS: Joe Wilkinson, Diane Morgan, Sue Johnston, Bobby Ball, Nigel Havers and Sarah Parish star in this new three-part sitcom. Stripped over three nights, it tells of Simon's (Wilkinson) 40th birthday party, for which he's taken his new girlfriend Donna ( Morgan) back home to the Isle of Wight for the first time to spend a long weekend with his doting mother Sue (Johnston), her small-minded husband Ray ( Ball) and celebrity-obsessed stepbrother David (Ben Rufus Green). But Simon's father Larry (Havers) and his new girlfriend Melissa ( Parish) are creating tension. Wilkinson also wrote the show with David Earl, the character comic known as Brian Gittins on the circuit. Gold, 10pm

TAKESHI’S CASTLE: Guz Khan joins the Japanese physical game show to commentate on its seventh season. He’ll be joined by a different guest each week - Basil Brush and Joey Essex on this opening double bill. Comedy Central, 9pm.
