..in the partially sighted World Championships

Comedian Josh Pugh is to represent England in the partially sighted football World Championships this year in Turkey.

The stand-up plays an indoor five-a-side version of the game called fustal at an international level.

He previously represented England in 2017 where the team finished third in the European Futsal Championshipse.

In a report on one earlier match, the FA commented: ’Josh Pugh was again outstanding in providing England with a solid base from which to operate and was immense in his defensive duties.’

The International Blind Sports Federation Futsal World Championships kick off in Antalya on December 4.
