Instead comedy ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, Italian rock 'n' roll pianist Antonio Sorgentone and dance group Mersey Girls made the final showdown last night – with Mersey Girls voted through by the studio audience.
Dog trainer Alexa Lauenburger also went through as Ant and Dec's golden buzzer act .
Lost Guy Voice – real name Lee Ridley, 38 – won the regular series of Britain’s Got Talent last year.
During his set last night, he joked: ‘If I don't get into the final I am going to put a brave face on. I spoke to Simon's plastic surgeon and he said it'd cost five grand.’
The judge took the gag in good spirits and added: 'Yeah, and the rest.’
