Guz Khan joins the Spice Girls

...in a new advert for Walkers crisps

Guz Khan has become the face of Walkers Crisps – starring in a new advert alongside the Spice Girls.

The Man Like Mobeen comic plays Dev, the band’s biggest fan in the new commercial, which debuted on ITV during the Britain’s Got Talent live final last night.

The ad shows the girls surprising the comedian at home with confetti and hugs before handing him a golden ticket to join them on their current tour.

But when they ask for a cheese and onion crisp, he turns cold on them – and Geri, Mel B, Mel C and Emma  leave his home without them.

Gary Lineker, the long-standing face of the brand, makes a cameo in the new campaign.

The Spice Girls – including Victoria Beckham who is absent from this ad and the band’s current reunion tour – previously appeared in an advert for Walkers in 1997 alongside Lineker.

Walkers have won a real competition for a  Spice Girls fan to win a place on the band’s tour, the winner of which will be announced on June 5.

The new advert has already racked up 1million views on YouTube.
