TWO PINTS OF LAGER AND A PACKET OF CRISPS: Though much derided at the time, this youth BBC comedy from the early Noughties that helped make a star of Sheridan Smith begins a repeat run on Gold from its very first episode. Relive all those sex and booze gags here… Gold, 11pm

Wednesday June 5

COMEDY CENTRAL LIVE Darren Harriott is this week’s stand-up, speaking about moving from Birmingham to London, peculiar roommates and forming his very own gang as a young teenager in the half-hour special. Comedy Central, 10.30pm

Friday June 7

SARAH MILLICAN: CONTROL ENTHUSIAST: In this filmed version of her last tour, the comic talks about road rage, her IBS, her favourite word and how she lets her husband know 'tonight's the night'. Channel 4, 9pm

THE LAST LEG Romesh Ranganathan guests. Channel 4, 10 pm

THIS IS YOUR LIFE: A notable episode from the US version of the show, dating from 1954 and featuring none other than Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. However, Laurel later revealed he was no fan of the show, and although polite, only reluctantly engages with the format.Talking Pictures TV, 8pm. Repeated at 10.35am on Sunday.
