Try-out show for BBC Northern Ireland

Belfast comic Shane Todd is piloting a new satirical comedy for BBC Northern Ireland.

In the show, titled Previously, the stand-up will offer a new commentary to archive footage.

The BBC describes the show as ‘acerbic, affectionate and playfully nostalgic’.

Todd has previously fronted his own BBC Radio Ulster show and is in the cast of the mockumentary Soft Border Patrol, playing head of PR Laurie Lyle.

The pilot of Previously is being recorded at Belfast’s intimate, pop-up venue Accidental Theatre next month. Click here to apply for free audience tickets.
