About sibling jealousy

Channel 4 has bought the rights to American comedy show The Other Two.

The show revolves around two adult siblings – an aspiring actor and  a former professional dancer – who struggle with the sudden intenet success of their 13-year-old brother.

It stars Drew Tarver, Heléne Yorke  and Case Walker  as the siblings with Molly Shannon as their pushy mother and and Ken Marino as the youngest brother’s manager. Guest stars have included Richard Kind and Wand Sykes.

The Other Two airs on Comedy Central in the US, with a second series recently commissioned. Its sister company Viacom International Studios sold the rights to Channel 4 – and also  Foxtel’s Comedy Channel in Australia – at the international distribution fair MIPTV in Cannes this week.

The show was warmly received by critics, with Indiewire saying: ‘Broad and goofy, yet snarky as hell, this comedy hasn’t met a pop culture reference it didn’t love to exploit. But beneath that farce is a surprisingly endearing portrait of a loving family still raw from shared pain.’
