More acclaim for Nanette

Hannah Gadsby has won another award for her stand-up special Nanette.

The comedian scooped ‘best performance in a Television Comedy’ at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards last night - the antipodean version of the Baftas.

But the special did not win the best comedy programme award, for which it was also nominated, losing out to sitcom The Letdown.

Topical comedy show The Weekly with Charlie Pickering was named best entertainment show.
