Star-studded event at Wembley Arena next year

Comic Relief has announced a massive fundraising gig featuring Catherine Tate,  Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr, John Bishop, Katherine Ryan, Sir Lenny Henry, Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett.

The one-off show, called Spectacular, will be  at The SSE Arena, Wembley, on Thursday February 28.

Alan Carr said: ‘It promises to be a memorable night and with such a cracking line up of comedians there is something for everyone’s comedic taste. 

Ryan added: ‘I can’t wait to take part in the first ever Comic Relief Spectacular. With a name like that, you know it’s going to be an extravaganza.’

The gig is being stage with Off The Kerb Productions, which also produced Channel 4’s charity Comedy Gala, which last ran in 2016.

Tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Friday.
