Bill Burr announces UK tour

Five dates for 2019

Bill Burr has announced a short UK tour for next year.

The acclaimed American comic will be playing five large venues in February and March as part of his 50 tour – so called because he has just reached the landmark age.

News of the dates comes as the third season of his animated Netflix series, F Is For Family prepares to launch on November 30. Burr’s fifth hour-long comedy special, Walk Your Way Out, is also available on the streaming giant.

He can also currently be seen in the new Hugh Jackman film, The Front Runner – the latest in a string of acting credits that includes the movies, Daddy’s Home, The Heat and Stand Up Guys, and the TV series Breaking Bad.

Burr will be at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo on February 28, the Resorts World Arena (formerly Genting Arena) in Birmingham’s NEC on March 1, the  O2 Apollo Manchester on March 2 and London’s Royal Albert Hall on March 4.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday.
