US dates with talk-show star

British comic James Veitch is to tour America with talk show host Conan O’Brien.

The star announced an 18-city tour, entitled Conan & Friends: An Evening of Stand-Up And Investment Tips, during his show on TBS last night.

Veitch – known for recounting his interactions with spam emailers – will be performing at 14 of the dates.

Rory Scovel, Marina Franklin, Ron Funches, and Flula Borg will also form the core supporting bill, with Taylor Tomlinson, Deon Cole, Moses Storm joining for some gigs.

Veitch has appeared on Conan’s show twice – once to tell how he pranked his roommate with rubber ducks, the second time telling of how he wound up a ‘wrong number’ texter who thought he was her landlord. Between them, the clips have amassed 17million views on YouTube aloe.

Announcing the show last night, O’Brien said: ’I’m really excited to get on the road and hear all your complaints about my show in person. This is your chance.’

But he also explained that despite the title: ‘There will be no investment tips given.’
